Wildcat

This is one of my family cats, Mouchoir. She’s maine coon and such a princess, but also the very best cuddler. Every time I go home I take a nap with her and she gets under the covers with me. This picture is part of my failed 365 challenge from last year. I want to attempt it again in 2013, but we’ll see.

Isn’t she beautiful? I wish I could take her with me.

Originally I really thought this blog would be more about finding myself. Turns out, it’s also about accepting myself and the life I have now instead of just looking to the future.

Anyyyway, I had a pretty jam-packed weekend with Steven and Captain this weekend. Captain wore his first t-shirt, went to his first tailgate, and visited his first dog park. He was definitely the most popular dog at tailgate (I’d bet on it) and he did pretty well at the dog park, but he was still a weenie and snipped at a few eager pups. Steven went on his first bar crawl with me and attended his first IU Football game/tailgate.

We put our feet up at the art museum after bar crawl-always the best way to end a night!

One item on my IU Bucket List  is to climb the firetower in Hoosier National Forest. I’ve done it many times and it’s gorgeous up there. I’ve taken a lot of friends that have never even heard of it, and they’re never disappointed. Fall in Bloomington is the best.

This year, I want to go up every season, although I’m not sure how much I want to be up there in the winter… It’d be cool though! I’ll let you know if it happens. I’ll do my best.
